The location was unbeatable, a 10-15 minute walk from The Wall Sculpture. Booked double room, that included an iron and ironing board, an electronic key card, and a TV set. The staff was efficient and cooperative and everything was very good...

The ferry service added a delightful touch to our trip, and the local market nearby made snacking convenient. However, the noise from outside disrupted our nights.

Quiet Retreat with Convenient Access

We enjoyed our stay, especially the easy ferry rides to the city center! Nearby, Oeipus brewery had good food and a cozy atmosphere. A tip for breakfast, arrive early to secure your favorite items and avoid the rush. The room was nice.

The rooms were clean, modern, and our view of the IJ river was amazing! It was easy to take our kids for a fun stroll along the canals, and we even rented bikes at the hotel, made exploring the area easy.

In my wife's opinion, the breakfast area was too crowded. It would be great if they could offer a shuttle service for families with children to make getting into town easier.

Though the river views are nice, there are extra charges that weren't mentioned upfront, such as €25 for parking and a €3 tourist fee per person. The shared door between rooms can create privacy concerns, too. My room cleanliness left a lot to be desired, with sheets feeling less than fresh and the bathroom lacking basic toiletries like soap. Even breakfast options lacked variety, to the point that after days of the same offerings, it felt repetitive. Finally, I encountered inefficiencies during breakfast and check-in, particularly in terms of staff communication about housekeeping and parking limitations.

Recommend it for a family with kids

So I stayed 4 nights with my son, and let me tell you, the breakfast was solid. Lots of different options, even lactose-free milk for my dietary needs. The room was neat and had two beds, perfect layout for us.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but you know what, I felt it was acceptable.
